It is Federal Impact Aid time again! Please ensure Vail receives the federal money it deserves because of your service!
Designed to assist local school districts that have lost property tax revenue due to the presence of tax-exempt Federal Property by the District, Federal Impact Aid supports local school districts with concentrations of children who have parents/guardians in the uniformed services or parents/guardians employed on eligible Federal Properties. Each year, the Vail School District receives these funds simply by having parents and guardians take the survey.
There are two ways to complete the survey:
1 - (easiest method) Online - Log into your PowerSchool parent account, click on the link to the left entitled Federal Impact Aid Survey, and fill it out for each student attending schools in Vail.
2 - Print this PDF form for each of your children attending schools in Vail, fill it out, and return it to your child's teacher or school.
